CONDITIONS OF USE

1.        The cost to repair any damage to the premises or replace any items vandalized, broken or stolen from Norrona Lodge shall be paid for by the RENTOR or ORGANIZATION.  RENTOR or ORGANIZATION shall assume all responsibility and liability for the actions and conduct of all persons (invited or otherwise) in attendance at Norrona Lodge.

2.       No liquor or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises at any time.  Should alcohol be brought onto the property, the event will be shut down with no refund.

3.       Norrona Lodge does not assume responsibility for any personal bodily accident or injury or medical expenses of any nature to any person, guest, acquaintance or friend of the RENTOR (invited or uninvited).

4.       Norrona Lodge does not assume any responsibility for damages or theft of any vehicles and/or personal property within the vehicles of any guests of the RENTOR or ORGANIZATION parked in the parking lot, parked on city streets, or parked on other private property. 

5.       At the sole discretion of Norrona Lodge, its designee(s) or the Los Angeles Police Department, the event may be closed or shut down at any time due to an emergency situation.  Should the event be shut down, no refunds will be provided.

6.       All items brought onto Norrona Lodge property (including all food items) will be removed by the RENTOR or ORGANIZATION at the conclusion of the event. 

7.       If kitchen facilities are used, the kitchen will be left in a clean and orderly condition.  At the sole discretion of Norrona Lodge, should it be determined that the kitchen was not left in a clean and orderly condition, all or part of the cleaning deposit will NOT be returned.

8.       Decorations of any kind are not allowed to be attached to walls, ceilings, beams or cabinets.  This includes the use of tape of any kind, push pins, tacks, etc.

9.       The maximum number of people allowed per event is as follows:

Business Meetings only (Main Lodge—chairs only):  225

Business Meetings only (Hytte—Little House):  40

Private Parties (Main Lodge)—includes chairs and dining tables:  130

Parking Lot:  26 vehicles

10.   RENTOR or ORGANIZATION agrees to hold Norway Hall, Norrona Lodge 6-50, Sons of Norway, its representatives, officers, members and caretaker harmless of any liability whatsoever for any act, damage or injury to any person or property that may occur that is beyond its control.

11.   Should the facility become unsuitable or unusable for rental purposes due to fire, flood, earthquake, or any other condition beyond the control of Norway Hall, then any monies paid by the RENTOR or ORGANIZATION shall be refunded and all rental obligations shall terminate upon payment of such refund.

12.   Smoking and/or any open flame (including candles) is not allowed inside any building.

 

FEE STRUCTURE

· MAIN LODGE (Business Meeting Only): includes setup and teardown of chairs and podium, use of parking facility and restrooms:  $500.00 (8 hours maximum) 

 

· MAIN LODGE (Parties--- Food Allowed): includes setup and teardown of chairs, tables, podium, use of parking facility, restrooms, use of refrigerator + oven for warming (no cooking or use of utensils or supplies): $750.00    (8 hours maximum)

 

· Hytte “Little House” --- (Business Meeting Only): includes setup and teardown of chairs and tables, use of parking facility and restroom:  $200.00 (8 hours maximum)
